It is essential for the proper functioning of any osmosis equipment that the inlet water has less than 3.5 bar pressure. It is necessary to have a maximum pressure switch so that it starts and stops according to the maximum pressure of the osmosis tank or reservoir.

For pressures higher than 4.5 bar at the pump inlet, install a pressure regulator set to 3.5 bar. If you do not do this, the life of your pump head will be short, since it does not support high counterpressures.
