The ROTEK FILTERS 10-inch Big Blue water filter housing combines the capacity of large-diameter filter cartridges with an innovative manual opening system designed to simplify maintenance.

Designed to accommodate universal 10" × 4.5" filter cartridges, it allows you to customise filtration according to your installation requirements, from sediment removal and fine particle filtration to activated carbon treatment.

The EASY OPEN system makes opening and closing the housing easier without a conventional filter wrench, providing a practical solution for domestic and professional water filtration installations.

Traditional filter housings often require a dedicated wrench to unscrew the bowl, particularly after extended periods of use.

The ROTEK EASY OPEN system features a rotating closure mechanism with a side-sealing design, engineered to make opening and closing the filter housing easier.

This makes routine maintenance more convenient and eliminates the need for a conventional housing wrench when removing the filter bowl.

The filter housing is supplied without a filter cartridge. Select a compatible universal Big Blue 10" × 4.5" cartridge separately according to your filtration requirements.

The Big Blue format uses larger-diameter cartridges than conventional slim 10-inch filter housings.

This increased diameter allows for a larger filtration surface or greater filter media volume, depending on the cartridge design.

The result is a practical solution when high filtration capacity is required without necessarily installing a 20-inch-long filter housing.

The versatility of the Big Blue format makes this housing suitable for a range of installations, provided the appropriate cartridge is selected for each application.
